Michael has worked across the globe in the IT industry for almost 20 years. His career has seen him perform as a project manager, business analyst, programmer and as a lawyer specialising in Technology Law.
He possesses knowledge and experience in the technology domain which few lawyers have. This experience and knowledge empowers him to provide practical legal solutions to business owners and entrepreneurs through startup and scaleup phases of their business.

Michael regularly advises Startups on legal structures, asset protection and engages in the preparation of shareholder agreements, trust deeds, inter-company licence agreements and a range of corporate registration and secretarial services.
Michael is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, Risk and Governance Professional Chartered Secretary, the skills gained in achieving these accolades enables him to advise corporate boards.

With a background in management consulting Michael’s experience endows him with a wealth of experience working across a very wide range of industries which he draws upon daily to advise business owners and entrepreneurs through the startup and scaleup phases of their business.
He regularly advises on, reviews and prepares a wide range of transactional needs including drafting Terms of Trade, Confidentiality Agreements, Service Agreements, Intellectual Property Protection and Assignment Deeds and other unique industry specific requirements.
Where the work extends beyond his own skill set, his project management experience enables him to manager a multi-disciplinary team (including specialist lawyers) to deliver on his client’s requirements.
